Robert C. Cordia Sr.


Robert C. Cordia Sr., 62, of Canton passed away Wednesday, August 8th,  suddenly  at his residence.

Robert was born in Canton on August 29, 1949, the son of the late Frank C. and Edith F. (McCarty) Cordia. Also preceded in death by sister Charlotte Cordia and brother Frank Cordia.

Survived by 3 daughters Barbara Ruiz of Magnolia, Maryann (Richard) Higgins of Canton, Charlotte Cordia of Massillon;  son Robert C. (Danielle Bobby) Cordia Jr. of E. Canton; 4 sisters Margaret Mahaffey of Massillon., Penny (Allen) Stoneman of Canton,  Jean Hashman of Canton,  Mary Ann Guthrie of Cottageville, WV;  4 brothers William  Lee Cordia Sr. of Sandyville, John (Angel) Cordia of Canton, Raymond Cordia of Canton,  Phillip (Holly) Cordia of Mineral City;  10 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 13th., in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating.  Friends may call Sunday  6-8 PM also in the funeral home.  Burial at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
