Robert  Dalton, 63, of Canton, passed away  Monday, August 8th, 2011 peacefully  at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.

Robert worked more than 20years with Republic Steel, Inc., of Canton. He was an avid supporter and watcher of tele evangelists, he loved hunting, fishing the outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Born in Moatsville, WV on December 31, 1947, the son of the late Coy Calvin and Roseline Margaret (Mayle) Dalton, also preceded in death by his two brothers,  Gerald C. and Lloyd Keith Dalton.

Robert is survived by his wife Catherine  (Richards) Dalton , his three daughters, Lacy (Brian Jenkins) Dalton, Amanda Dalton, Kimberly Dalton. two sons Robert Keith (Krissy) Dalton, Richard (Amanda) Dalton, 9 Grandchildren: Mitch Anthony, Caitlin Rhaye, Christian Robert, Kylee Lynn, Breanna Jean, Jackson Randall, Taylor Rain, HayLee Marie Ann, and Harmony Catherine, three sisters, Phyllils Spauldine, Jean Myers, Audrey Dalton and three brothers, Wayne Dalton, Allen D. Dalton and Kenneth A. Dalton.

Funeral will be held at 11am, Friday, August 12th in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin "Jack" Mayle officiating. Friends are invited to call from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 11th also in the funeral home.
