Robert L. Jackson, 80, of , Canton, passed away Saturday, February 8th. Born in Bessemer, Alabama on May 14, 1944, a son of the late Charles and Mattie (Davis) Jackson Jr. Robert proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Survived by 2 daughters Evangelia Jackson, of Canton, Anastasia (Enos Jr.) Jackson-Priester; sister Hollie White; 5 grandchildren Malachi Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Elijah Jackson, Malcolm Jackson-Pope, Bithiah Jackson-Thigpen; 16 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
