Robert Michael Smith, 60, of Canton, passed away, Friday, March 3, at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Dover on December 11, 1962, son of the late Patricia Porter. A Dover High School and Walsh College graduate, he enjoyed going to Walsh basketball and football games whenever he could, as well as watching Cleveland Indians baseball. Survived by son Corey Smith, of Canton; 2 sisters Marla Seevers, of Green, Beth (Randy) Crouse, of Strasburg, along with many other family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asking that donations be made to defray final expenses.
