Robert E. "Blib" McCarty, 72, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, January 5th, at Mercy Medical Center. Robert was born in Canton on December 11, 1949, a son of the late James William McCarty and Jennie (Brown) McCarty. Also preceded in death by 3 sisters Barbara McCarty, Mary McCarty, and Lillian Wise, as well as 1 brother Joel Roudebush. Robert was employed for 15 years at Cavella and Hair General Contractors retiring in the years 2009. Survived by his wife Angela M. (Kessler) McCarty, daughter Amanda Mayle, of Canton; sister Sue Phillips, of Louisville; 2 brothers, James William McCarty, of Canton and George McCarty, of Louisville. As well as 1 granddaughter Mariya Kessler. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
