Robert W. "Pops" Dorosky



Robert W. Dorosky, 69, of Canton passed away Wednesday, November 7th,  at his residence.

Robert was born in Canton, on November 11, 1942, the son of the late Frank F. and Dorothea (Page) Dorosky also preceded in death by  a brother, Gary.

Robert retired from Georgia Pacific and was an active member of the Eagles of Louisville.  He was an avid bowler, fisherman, and sports fanatic.

He is survived by his wife, Candace S. "Candy"  (Bagueros) Dorosky;  3 sons Todd A (Renee) Dorosky, Steven E. (Genia) Dorosky and Stan (Stacie) Herzog;  siblings Frank F. Dorosky Jr.,  Harry J. Dorosky, Cynthia K. Manda,  Kathleen Gregory,  Mark E. Dorosky, and Jodi Elkins; 5 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters and 1 expected great granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 10th at 3 PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Montieth officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 PM till time of service. Robert gave the gift of sight through eye donation upon his death.
