Robert J. Smith, 63, of Canton, passed away Thursday, January 6th, at Aultman Hospital. Robert was born in Canton on April 6, 1958, to the late Fred and Dolores (Carson) Smith, also preceded in death by older brother Mike Smith and younger sister Natalie Fogle. Robert worked diligently at Republic Storage in Canton for over 17 years.  Survived by loving companion Kathy Boyd; 2 daughters, Chelsea Flemming, of Massillon, Misti Boyd, of Virginia; 4 sons, Robert Eugene James Smith, of Virginia, Brandon Boyd, of Canton, Dakota Snyder, of Ashtabula, Bass Sellers, of Paris, Ohio; 2 sisters, Shawna Smith, of Canton and Nadara Padgett, of Louisville; and 2 brothers, John C. Smith and Eric Smith, both of Carrollton, as well as 17 grandchildren. Memorial services may be held at a later date.
