Roberta Marie Nitzu, 72, a life long resident of Canton, passed away at home, June 13, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 22, 1945, a daughter of the late Robert and Anne (Holleran) Novak. Attended Timken High School and retired from Republic Storage Systems in Canton. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who always put family first. She enjoyed geneology, traveling, collecting antiques, and was an avid reader. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Marguerite "Peggy" Robart; a brother John Novak; and infant brother Robert Novak. Survived by a daughter Alicia Zampino; son Daniel M. Curlutu; two sisters Zita (Carl) Dukworth and Karen (Richard) Fernandes; granddaughter Alana (Ronald) Williams; and great-grandson Zechariah Williams; many other family members that will miss her deeply.
