Roger L. Powers, 73, of Alliance, passed away Saturday, January 27th, at Alliance Community Hospital. Born in Ravenna, on December 29, 1944, a son of the late Marjorie Mae (Noble) and Charles G. Powers. Preceded in death by daughter Tina Powers; brothers Duane Powers, Gordon Powers. Employed as an electrician for Goodyear of Akron for 35 years and served in the Air Force as a sergeant during the Vietnam Conflict. Survived by daughter Cindy Powers of Alliance; 2 sons Michael (Daniella) Powers, of Macedonia, Troy (Elisa) Powers, of Alliance; sister Lois (Jerry) Mafield; 2 brothers Lowell "Buzz" (Sylvia) Powers, Lynn (JoAnn) Powers. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Brittany Powers, Xavier Powers, Dylan Blough, Xander Powers; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. No services will be held at this time.
