Roger D. "Hook" Sparren, 72, of East Rochester, passed away Saturday, October 29th, surrounded by loved ones in his home. Born in Alliance on April 15, 1950, a son of the late Delbert Ray and Ruth Elizabeth (Eye) Sparren. Hook served in the U.S. Army, loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. Survived by loving companion Jo Welden; daughter Angela (Jay) Puckett, of Alliance; 2 sons Roger "Nick" (Juanita) Sparren, of Alliance, Robert Sparren, of Green; step daughter Steffanie (Lee) Welden, of Minerva; 5 step sons Wess (Emily) Daniels, of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jason (Robin) Geiselman, of Alliance, Beau (Chrisana) Welden, of Minerva, Nick Welden, of Canton, Eric (Nicole) Welden, of East Rochester; brother John Sparren, of Florida; 23 grandchildren and best friends Scott and Bud.
