Ronald  D. Mayle

Ronald D. Mayle, 79, of Canton passed away Sunday, September 29, in the Oakhill Manor Care Center of Louisville following a year and a half illness.

Ronald was born in Chesterhill on September 21, 1934, the son of the late Dayton and Pauline (Smith) Mayle; also preceded in death by son, Ronald Mayle; brothers Emmit & Wayne Mayle; sisters Wilma Tabler and Iva Mayle.  A Member of the Trinity Gospel Temple of Canton, employed as a steel worker  at Republic Steel Corporation of Canton for Over 25 years retiring in 1997 and served as a Seaman in the U.S. Navy.

Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Darlene K. Mayle, married May 26, 1979; daughters Eloise Owens of Columbus, Loretta Perrine of Tunnelton, WV, Debara (Russell) Harlan of Columbus; sons Kenneth (Trina) Mayle of Reynoldsburg; David Gregory of Columbus; sisters Margaret Walker of Columbus, Sandra Burk of Zanesville; brother Charles Joseph Mayle of Columbus as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
