Rory Linn "Chubbs" Kurpil, 62, of Alliance, passed away after an extended illness Monday, December 13th, in his home. Born in Little Washington, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1959, a son of Joseph Kurpil, of Georgia and Donna (Varner) Kurpil, of Alliance. A member of the Roma Society of Alliance, he was also an avid Steelers fan. Besides his parents he is survived by 2 daughters Phoenix (Chad) Massarelli, Nichole (Nicole) McCarthy, all of Canton; 3 sons Ben Jones, Ernie Jones, of Alliance, Carl Jones; 7 sisters Robin (John) Priest, Donna Kurpil, Jamie Kurpil, Tonya (Steve) Papic, Deeann (David) Bevins, Danielle (Donnie) Wells; 4 brothers Joe (Kathy) Kurpil, Tom (Karen) Kurpil, Mike Kurpil and David (Jody) Kurpil as well as 2 grandchildren Cora Kurpil and Garrett Massarelli. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
