Russell Lee Smith, 56, of Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, June 6th, at Carroll Health Care Center. Born in Canton, on October 11, 1966, a son of the late Walter "Sonny" Smith and  Ruth (Richards) Smith, also preceded in death by infant daughter, brother Paul Smith, and sister Phyllis Roettker. A 1984 Carrollton High School graduate, he was employed for many years as an over the road truck driver. He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping, but most of all he enjoyed his family. Survived by fiance Danielle Haney; 2 daughters Emily Cannon, Elizabeth Smith; 2 sons Ryan (Morgan) Haney, Conner Haney; 2 sisters Janet (Bill) Grimes, Sally (Eric) Reagle; brother Matthew (Jewell) Smith; granddaughter Willow; as well as several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
