Ruth Jackson, 71, of East Canton, passed away Saturday, February 15th, Aultman Women's Board Compassionate Care Center. Born in Canton, on February 24, 1953, a daughter of the late Hoyt and Levonia (Croston) Miner. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by brothers Troy (Carmen) Miner, Peter Miner, Edward (Diane) Miner, Larry (Linda) Miner, sister Laura Miner, sisters-in-law Retha Miner and Linda Miner. Ruth had a deep love for her children and grandchildren, her family was everything to her. Aside from spending time with her family she enjoyed fishing and playing candy crush. Survived by husband Donald Jackson Sr.; daughter Stephanie Jackson; 3 sons Aaron Miner, Cory (Kathy) Miner, Donald Jackson Jr.; sister Paulette (Audy) Taylor; 2 brothers Michael Miner, Marion Miner; sister-in-law Helen Miner; 8 grandchildren Cheryl (Demetrus) Colbert, Amber (Joseph) Kakascik, Deonca (Lavell) Roscoe, Justice Jackson, Xavier Jackson, Sharron Dalton, Alicia (Peter) Miner, Cassey Dalton; 18 great grandchildren as well as other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Monday, February 24th at 12 PM. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior from 10 AM till the time of service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
