Obituary
Ruth A. Meers, 70, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, April 3rd, at the Laurels of Massillon following a lengthy illness. Born in Canton on April 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Peter and Velma (Marks) Zerbey, also preceded in death by 2 daughters Christina Weckerly, Melissa Weckerly, and grandson Dennis Cooper. Besides her husband William H. Meers, married 1985, she is survived by daughter Dawn Sparks, of Canton; son William Meers; and 3 grandchildren. No services will be held at this time.
