Sandra "Sandy" Newell, 66, of Canton, passed away Monday, October 2nd, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, on May 8, 1957, a daughter of the late Gene and Ann Painter, also preceded in death by sister Carol Rowe. Survived by her husband Cecil Newell Jr; 2 daughters Marie (Rob) Newell and April (Tyrone) Newell, both of Canton; son Cecil Newell III, of Canton; brother Rod  Painter, of Canton; 5 grandchildren Cody (Arianna), Jacob, Kyle (Clay), Cecil (Kaydence), and Kelsey, as well as niece Tammy Painter and brother-in-law Roy Newell. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
