Scott P. Whittaker, Age 60, of Canton passed away Sunday Feb 20, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born Oct 21, 1950 in Pensacola, FL to James & Evelyn Whittaker.  He served in the Army in Vietnam, receiving a Bronze Star.  He graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in accounting.  He moved to Canton in 1988.

He was preceded in death by twin infant daughters, Bette and Ann; and his father James.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patrice Whittaker; seven children and spouses; Jay & Amy Whittaker, Jeffrey & Jill Whittaker, Joseph & Rebekah Whittaker, Jack Whittaker, Jeric & Ashley Whittaker, Jon Whittaker and Jilisa & Daniel Henry; five brothers and sisters, and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday Feb 24, 2011 from 6-9 pm at St. Joan of Arc in Canton.  A Mass service will take place on Friday, Feb 25 at the Church. A military burial will be held at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patrice Whittaker's name accepted through St. Joan of Arc.
