Shane Drake, 49, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, May 31st, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on May 29, 1974, a son of Sebert and Tina (Eddleman) Drake, also preceded in death by 2 daughters Kennedy Mae Drake and Sorrow Angelina Drake. Shane was a kind and loving soul. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend. He had a deep love for music and he often communicated through song. He was loved by everyone who met him. He was a protector, but most of all, he was a jokester. His laughter was infectious and he went out of his way to make everyone in the room laugh. He was a hard worker, as he strived to make the family business, Drakescapes, thrive. Shane was very artistic and enjoyed writing poetry. He touched so many lives in such little time. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and adored him. Besides his parents, he is survived by wife Jennifer (Baldwin) Drake; daughter Alicia Kostolich; son Legend Shane Drake, both of Canton; sister Tracy Drake, of Massillon; brother Shawn Drake, of Canton and long time love and friend Suzie Parsons Uri. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m on Thursday, June 8th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends and family may call from 4 p.m, to 5:30p.m, also in the funeral home.
