Shawn L. Griffin, age 31, of Canton, passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, August 27, 2018. 2005 graduate of Canton South High School. Served in the U.S. Marines from 2006 until 2009 and was present in Fallujah Iraq for a year. Survived by his parents Kim Dalton and Laverne Griffin, stepfather Ronald Dalton, brother Adrian Michael Griffin, Fiancée Jessica Cooperider, grandmother Joanne Dean and Donna Dalton, nephew Adrian Michael Griffin Jr., many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Canton South Social Hall, 5130 Cleveland Ave SW Canton, OH 44707, on September 8, 2018 from 3pm until 6pm.
