Sherman L Franklin, Jr

Sherman L Franklin, Jr, 59, of East Sparta, passed away Saturday, March 12th, at Aultman Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center. Born in Canton, on August 8, 1956, to the late Sherman, Sr. and Sylvia Marie (Locke) Franklin, also preceded in death by a brother John R Franklin. Graduated from Canton South High School in 1974, and was self-employed as an oil well maintenance man. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors, a Jack of all Trades, loved being with family, friends, and always there to lend a hand. Survived by son Michael (Tiffany) Franklin, of Louisville; 2 brothers Daniel C Franklin, Mark R Franklin, of both of Canton South; half-sister Rose Kinser; 2 grandchildren Kaylyn and Cheyanne Franklin; and former wife Connie Chantain.  The family expresses their gratitude to Altercare of Louisville and Aultman Woodlawn Hospice. As per Sherman's wishes, there will be no services.
