Shirley Croston, 83, of Canton passed away on Friday, January 2nd, at Mercy Hospital. Born in Wendel, West Virginia on August 31st, 1942, the daughter of the late Dow and Letha Mayle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Freddie Croston, her son, Ronald Croston and her sister Caryn Clark. Survived by daughter Pamela (Tommy) Dalton; 3 sons Rick (Lisa) Whitehair, Timothy Joe Croston, Gerald Croston; 4 grandchildren Joseph Croston, Brandon Harris, Tyler Whitehair, Alicia Dalton; 5 great-grandchildren Carter Croston, Carmen Croston, Kayden Harris, Arianna Harris, Elizabeth Schaffner; as well as other loving family members and friends. A mother to many in heart and in deed, she will be deeply missed by all.
