Stanley D. Martin, 65, of Canton, passed away Sunday, December 5th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton on July 6, 1956, a son of Clara (Settles) Martin and the late Horace Martin, also preceded in death by sister Jannean Martin and nephew Matthew Jones. A member of the Peoples Baptist Church of Canton, he served in the U.S. Army. Besides his mother he is survived by daughter Kimberly Martin, of Brooklyn, New York; son Tayon Dunson, of Columbus; sister Kelly Martin and brother Douglas Martin, both of Canton as well as nieces and nephews Shanna (Mohammed Crawl-Bey) Martin, Kadeem Martin, Lyric Fields all of Canton and grandson Tayden Dunson. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 18th in the Union Baptist Church, 413 Cornelia Ave NE, Canton. Calling hours also at the church.
