Steven Charles Laird, 78, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, February 1st, at Meadow Wind Nursing Home. Born in Canton, on September 30, 1944, a son of the late Alexander and Jean (Wood) Laird II, also preceded in death by loving wife Brenda Gearling, 3 brothers Joseph G. Laird, Alexander Laird III, Roger J. Laird and granddaughter Jestine. Employed at Olympic Plating for over 30 years. Survived by 2 daughters Bobbi (Ben Showe) Miller, of Canton, Leslie (Nicholas) Kimes, of Navarre; sister Cheryl L. Laird; brother William E. Laird; 5 grandchildren Angela, Amanda, Carmelia, Gibby, Justice; 12 great grandchildren Brandon, Landon, Hayden, Jeremiah, Ryder, Ryan, Scarlet, Adrienne, Treasure, Jaydan, Michael and Judge as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. There are no services scheduled at this time.
