Tangi Jean Johnson, 61, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 25th. Born in Canton, Ohio, on February 6, 1963, a daughter of Umbal (Thomas) Owens and the late David Johnson, also preceded in death by 2 sons Jamar Johnson and Jermaine Gaitor, sister Tessa Owens, step-father John E. Owens, and cousin Lance Thomas. Besides her mother, she is survived by 2 sons Justin Johnson and Joshua Johnson; 3 sisters Tina Friedman, Tiffany (Orlando) Dickerson, and Tikisha (John) Harris; brother John Owens; special daughter Brandy Stewart; daughter in law Sharea Gaitor; uncle Joey (Tanya) Thomas; 6 grandchildren Joshua Johnson, Justin Johnson, Jamar Johnson, Amara Johnson, Ivan Gaitor, and Ja' Laya Gaitor; special friends Robert Williams and Regina Moore; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends. A memorial service will be held at Noon, on Saturday, April 6th, in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather 1 hour prior to services in the funeral home.
