Ted  Eugene Ratliff, 70, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, September 28th, at Akron General Hospital. Born in Fort Campbell, KY on August 5, 1953, a son of the late  Henry  and Helen Ratliff, also preceded in death by sister Terri Hughes and sister-in-law Cheri Ratliff. He was especially close to his late grandparents, Harry and Una Ratliff.

Ted will be remembered for his caring nature and desire to help others. Music has a big influence in his life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing his guitar and sang beautifully. Later, he was fond of listening to oldies music. He also had the talent to write the most touching poetry.

He will be missed by his devoted wife, Becky, of 48 years and their two children Tiffany (Jonathan) King, and Curtis (Christine) Ratliff; grandsons Brendan, Logan, and Devin. He is also survived by his  5 sisters Linda (John) Nienhius, Debby (Jerry) Shumaker, DebiAnn Rosenbaum, Becky (Mark) Burton, Keeley (Alan) Puett; 4 brothers Tod (Carol) Ratliff, Joe (Julie) Ratliff, Tim  Ratliff, John Ratliff. In addition, he is survived by his brother-in-law Dan (Judy) Hazuka. No services will be held at this time.
