Teresa Alice Kopache, Age 77, passed away February 6th, 2011 at her residence following a lengthy illness. An awesome wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, a devout McKinley Bulldog fan, and dedicated retired nurse at Molly Stark and Massillon State Hospital. Born in Lake Cable on September 19,1933, the daughter of the late Peter and Edria (Bailey) Keane, also preceded in death by brothers, John, Michael and Martin Keane. Graduate of Central Catholic High School and Kent State University, member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, President of Croatian Club 514, member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3747. A nature enthusiast, enjoyed fishing, hiking, and camping with family and friends at numerous state and national parks.Teresa is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Kopache, children Joseph Kopache Jr., of Canton,  Jennie (Dennis) Kratzer of Canton,  James (Cindy) Kopache of E. Canton,  Steven (Jeanie) Kopache of Canton, Renee Kopache of Cincinnati, and Richard Kopache of Canton, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister Margaret (Steve) Richards of Canton, and a brother James Patrick Keane of Petersburg.Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church,  at 9:30am, Thursday, February 10th,  with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Louisville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mercy Medical Center Homecare/Hospice, whose incredible support the family greatly appreciates.
