Terry Akers, 69 of Canton, passed away Saturday, February 1st. Born in Montgomery, West Virginia, on September 19, 1955 a son of the late Frank Akers and Margie Sheets, also preceded in death by his stepfather, Clyde Sheets, who was very close to him. Survived by 2 brothers Robert (Rachel) Sheets and Dale (Paula) Akers, a sister Helen (Lee) Beasley, also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A avid sports fan, Terry was a beloved supporter of the Green Bay Packers. Known for his strong work ethic and dependability. Terry had a passion for music and reading. Above all, he loved his family. No services will be held at this time.
