Thomas W. Fury



Thomas W. Fury, 93, of Canton passed away Saturday, August 11th, at Oakhill Manor Nursing Home, Louisville following a lengthy illness.

Thomas was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia  on July 11, 1919 and had lived in our area for many years, also preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, died January 15, 2007,  7 brothers and Sisters.

Employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Hanna Coal Company of Cadiz, Ohio, retiring in 1976.
A member the Crystal Park Wesleyan Church of Canton and was a Sgt. in the Army during WWII.

Survived by a daughter Nancy (Bill) Anderson, grandchildren Thomas Anderson, Murray (Tina) Anderson of all of Canton.

Funeral Services will be held  at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 14th, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Rev. John Dye officiating. Friends may call 6-8 PM on Monday in the funeral home. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Louisville.
