Thomas R. McCarty



Thomas R. McCarty, 65, of Louisville passes away Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 in his home unexpectedly.

Thomas was born in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania on February 4, 1947, preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Employed for 30 years at the Timken Co. of Canton, retiring from the loading department and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was of Jehovah's Witness Faith.

Survived by his wife Sheila  (Hoffer) McCarty to whom he married November 2, 1968; 2 daughters Jeannette (George) Boyle of E. Canton, Jennifer (Chris) Wallace of Salineville; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, October 26th, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with George Fortune officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service's (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM) also in the funeral home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
