Thomas R. Smith, Age 74, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, February 17th, 2011, peacefully, at his residence.  Born in Massillon on July 11, 1936, the son of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Erdly) Smith. A veteran of the U.S. Airforce, most commonly known as the "Produce Man" on the corner of Georgetown and Trump. Surivived by his wife, Lynette (Shaner) Smith, chidren, Daniel, Melissa Blile, Jennifer Walker, Regina, Rick, Tom, Katrina, Darena Garrett, Jerry, 21 grandchilren, 10 great-granchildren, a sister, Betty Fisher, a brother, Tim Erdely, and many nieces and  nephews.  He will be greatly missed and loved. Private services will be held at a later date.
