Thomas L. Smith, Jr., 48, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 6th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton on February 2, 1974, a son of the late Thomas Sr. and Carole L. Smith, also preceded in death by brother Timmy Smith. Survived by 2 daughters Katie Higgs, of Canton, Kristi Bales, of Akron; 2 brothers Brad Smith, Todd Smith, both of Canton; grandmother Martha Smith; as well as many nieces; nephews; family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
