Timothy K
Ferris
January 2, 1963 – June 5, 2026
Timothy Keith Ferris, 63, of Stark County, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 5, 2026, following a brief illness.
Tim was born on January 2, 1963, to the late Floyd D. Ferris and Betty C. Ferris. A lifelong resident of Stark County, Tim was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
For more than 20 years, Tim worked at Tekfor, now AAM, in Wooster, where he was respected by his coworkers and took great pride in his work. He was looking forward to retirement and spending more time with those he loved.
Tim shared 42 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Chris (Tschabold) Ferris. Together they built a life centered around family, love, and hard work.
He is survived by his daughters, Breanan Harper (Steven) of Jackson Township, Samantha Long (Samuel) of Perry Township, and Jacquelyn Ferris of Perry Township; his son, Timothy J. Ferris (Kaitlin) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his grandchildren, Noah (Lexi), Nadia, Joshua, Nathaniel, Brooklyn, Selena, and Nicolette; and his sister, Patricia Harsher (Larry) of Canton.
Tim also shared a special bond with his sons-in-law, Steven and Samuel, and with his son Timothy's lifelong best friends, Zarin and Brandon, whom he loved and treated as his own sons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Tim was especially excited to welcome his first great-grandchild later this year, a blessing he spoke about often and looked forward to with great anticipation.
In his spare time, Tim enjoyed building and fixing things around the house, tinkering with anything mechanical, and working on his beloved old Jeep. He enjoyed watching movies and had a special appreciation for wildlife, often spending time watching the deer, birds, and even the foxes that made a home beneath his shed. He found joy in life's simple moments and took pride in caring for the things and people he loved.
Those who knew Tim will remember him as a hardworking man with a generous heart, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His quiet strength, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Tim has gone home to Heaven and is now at peace.
Calling hours will be held in the Ward-Simchak Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, from 5pm-9pm. A Funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 13, at 11am in the Ward-Simchak Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Brown officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior.
