Timothy C. Rodgers, Sr.



Timothy C. Rodgers, Sr., 62, of Canton passed away Monday, June 24 at his residence following a brief illness.  Timothy was born in Morgantown, WV on August 18, 1950, the son of the late Charles and Virgie (Groves) Rodgers. A member of Grace Cathedral of Akron and employed as a mechanic; retiring from Hoist Equipment of Cleveland.

Survived by his wife Jeannie (Morris) Rodgers, married  June 12, 1972; three daughters Connie (Robert) Wolf of Louisville, Jeannie Marie (Daniel) McDonald, Virgnia Rodgers both of Canton; son Timothy Rodgers Jr. also of Canton; two sisters Barbara Bradford and Charlotte Dickson both of Alliance; brother Kenneth Rodgers of Parlin, NJ and fourteen grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 11 AM on Friday, June 28,  with Rev. Chris Machamer officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM also in the funeral home. Burial at Forrest Hill Cemetery.
