Obituary

Tina Marie Danley Canton, Ohio 1956 – 2025

Tina Danley, 68, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her hometown, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love.

Tina dedicated 30 years of her life to the United States Postal Service, where she was known not just for her strong work ethic, but for her determination, grit, and unwavering commitment to getting the job done right. She was a fierce woman who didn't take any nonsense and always stood her ground — qualities that earned her respect from both coworkers and customers alike.

A lifelong lover of books and scary movies, Tina also cherished nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was her heart, and she gave to them—and to everyone in her life—with an open hand and an open heart. Tina was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back. She always saw the best in people, gave more than she ever asked for in return, and carried the heart of an angel.

She is survived by her daughter, Launnie Danley-Thomas and her husband Roy; her bonus daughter, Heather Milkovich; and five cherished grandchildren: Kylen, Jaquob, Skyelynn, Ameera, and Melina.

Tina is also survived by her twin brother, Timothy Danley and his wife Gail; brothers, Kevin Danley (Beth) and James Danley; sisters, Michele Palm (Mark) and Daniele Duhamel (Michael); and her companion, Melvin Weatherspoon.

She leaves behind a beloved extended family including nieces and nephews: Eric and Amber Nupp, Anna-Marie and Erin Danley, Caitlin Buhrmeister, Elizabeth Danley, Nicole and Dylan Danley, and PJ Price—as well as numerous cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her father, Bernard L. Danley; her mother, Eileen (Danley) Stevens; and her brother, Patrick Danley (Connie).

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her boundless spirit and unwavering love.
