Tommie J Croston, 76, of East Sparta, passed away Thursday, December 7th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Grafton, West Virginia on October 1, 1947, a son of the late Homer Mayle and Bertha (Croston) Whitehair, also preceded in death by daughter-in-law Tina Croston, 3 sisters Betty Stolis, Norita Queen, Brenda Mayle, 2 brothers Willard Whitehair, abd Freddie Croston. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia A. (Newman) Croston, married June 21, 1969; daughter Holly (Christopher) Janidas, of East Sparta; son Tommie Croston Jr., of Waynesburg; 3 sisters Nora Mayle, Linda Kennedy, Juanita Mayle; 4 brothers Paul Croston, Junior Croston, Charles Croston, Bobby Croston; grandson Logan Janidas; as well as numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; family members; and friends. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, December 13th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
