Viola M Burkhart, 91, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, August 26th, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Burkhart, Ohio on February 14, 1924, a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of Canton, Altar Rosary Society of the Church, and V.F.W. Post 3747 Ladies Auxiliary also of Canton. Preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Stella (Miller) Biedenbach,  husband Frederick E Burkhart Sr., died December 28, 1991, son Kenneth M., grandson Nicholas Dougherty; daughter-in-law Diane Burkart; 3 sisters Millie Nau, Mary Schoeller, Clara Schumacher, 4 brothers Infant James, Arthur, Norbert and Roger Biedenbach.  Survived by 3 daughters Darlene (James) Cantley, of East Canton, Donna (David) Dougherty, Janet (Dale) Scott; 7 sons Frederick "Fritz" (Nancy) Jr, Larry (Theresa), John (Teresa), James, Carl all of Canton, Ronald, of Louisiana,  Leonard (Diane), of Louisville; sister Evelyn Wasilewski; 3 brothers Donald (Rita) Biedenbach, Bernard Biedenbach, Dennis (Elaine) Biedenbach; brother and sister-in-laws Lillian (Hank) Sivinski, Amy Biedenbach, Roman Schumacher, Judy Biedenbach; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 31 ^st at Noon in Christ the Servant Parish with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano officiating, burial to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
