Virginia & Charles Kopf

A join memorial service will be held to remember Charles E. and Virginia B. Kopf on Saturday, January 18, at 11 AM in the Crystal Part United Methodist Church, 2219 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705 .

Charles, 90, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012. A lifelong resident of Canton, born on April 2, 1922, the son of the late Adolph and Euphemia (Smith) Kopf, also preceded in death by three sisters Margaret Mae Ray, Lily "Sis" Wilson, and Jean Kaiser. He was employed as a Lithographer for 36 years retiring in 1981; graduate of McKinley High School, class of 1940, and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.

Virginia, 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. She was born in Holloway on December 4, 1924, the daughter of the late William and Stella (Porter) Douglass, also preceded in death by a sister Katheryn Ludwig; four brothers, Charles, Irwin, Howard and Albert Douglass.

Both were lifetime members of the Crystal Park United Methodist Church where Charles served as a lay minister for many years. Survived by Virginia's sister Lena Mae Locke of Portland, OR and their several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Tributes may be made to the Crystal Park United Methodist Church.
