Wayne  V.  Rodgers, 73, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 peacefully at Rose Lane Nursing Home in Jackson Twp. A Pvt. in the U.S. Army, Wayne was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Sharpshooter, and formerly the Custodian at the Dueber United Methodist Church in Canton.

Born in Canton, on April 6, 1938 to the late Roy J. and Margaret (Foust) Rodgers, also preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl Rodges, and two brothers Tom and Roy Rodgers.

Wayne is survived by two sons Timothy and Curtis Rodgers, two daughters Christina Feller and Darlina and Anthony Spicocchi, grandchildren; Katlynn M. Feller, Terry Rodgers, Aleah Spicocchi, great-grandchildren; Makyala Wilson, Gage Wilson, Hunter Wilson and Giavanna Wilson, two brothers Don Rodgers, Harold Rodgers, two sisters Roseann and Jim Fletcher and Sandy and Terry Barnett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom Ave., NW, North Canton, Ohio 44720. Interment will be held 1:00 pm on May 14, 2011 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio44270.
