William "Marty" Piatt, 74, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 28th, at The Gardens of Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Canton on June 9, 1948, son of the late William G. and Eileen (Halter) Piatt, also preceded in death by sister Nancy Bell and brother-in-law Cliff Arntz. Served in the U.S Navy as a hull maintenance technician 2nd class, and was employed for many years in the maintenance department for the Kent Stark Campus before retiring. Survived by 2 daughters Kimberlee (Brian) Kuemerle, of Canton, Melissa (Scott) Forester, of Navarre; sister Diana Arntz, of California; 4 grandchildren Eryn (Travis), Cody, Jordyn,and  Damian; as well as many nieces; nephews; cousins; family members; and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 8th from 12PM to 3PM at The Barrel Room, 7901 Cleveland Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
