William N Mayle, Sr.

William N Mayle, Sr., 92, of Minerva, passed away Saturday, December 20th, at Great Trails Care Center of Minerva. Born in Grafton, West Virginia on June 23, 1922, to the late Harry Cleo and Della Mayle, also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Olive (Worden) Mayle who died March 10, 2012.  A member of the Crystal Park Wesleyan Church of Canton. Employed as a truck driver for Labors Local 1015 for 42+ years and served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Survived by daughter Linda (Rev. David) Maley of Grafton, WV; adopted daughter Mary Nicholas of Canton; son William (Peggy) Mayle, Jr. of Minerva ; sister Evelyn Apperson of Zainesville; brother Raymond Mayle of East Sparta; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren;  and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on December 29 ^th , Monday at 1pm in the Crystal Park Wesleyan Church with his son-in-law Rev. David Maley officiating.

Friends may call December 28, Sunday 5-7pm in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home.

Burial will be in West Virginia in the National Cemetery in Grafton.
